Service for Curt Antony of Dallas, will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Calvary-Philadelphia Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Park.
Curt Antony Clark was born to the late Barbara Nell Miller and Charles “CD” Davenport on June 7, 1965. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age at Saintville COGIC in Dallas, Texas under the leadership of the late Bishop J. Neaul Haynes.
He attended Dallas ISD schools and graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1983. Curt spent his life on the road as an independent contractor in the trucking industry. He married the love of his life, Helen in 2009. Curt loved his family, dogs, horses, Winstar, live shows, and sports.
Those cherishing in his memory are: wife, Helen, children LeTempest Barnes, Ashten Alexander. Step children Tiniece Jones (Reggie), Karen Franklin (Willie), Tiffani Barnes, Marquis Barnes-Wheeler, and Perry Wilson. He also leaves granddaughter, Shakeema Hazel, great grandchildren Caden & Taleyah Washington; brothers Donel Clark (Ceyita), Charles Roberson (Carrie), Jonathan Brown; sisters Lisa Thibeaux (Apostle Dudley); sisters, Barbara McNair (Henry), Urleisha Rea Crain (Terrell), siblings in love, Curtis Freeman, Rickey Freeman, Rita Lemmie (Derrick), Gerald Freeman, and Cathy Freeman; uncle, Reuben Davenport (Helen); aunts, Jacquie Kennard, Vida Davenport; niece Kristen Hernandez (Danny); and many nephews. Special cousins, Shelley, Rasean, Rene, and Letitia; and a host relatives, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Barbara Nell Miller and C.D. Davenport; brother, Clifford Sean Barnes; and grandparents, Thelma Foster and Reuby Davenport.
